Kathy Hinson

small image of Kathy.jpg (940860 bytes)Kathy Hinson built a successful career as a graphic artist and photographer from 1970 through 1992.  Included starting in 1982, were 10 years of owning her own business, Hinson Graphics.

She shifted her main focus to a career as a oil painter in 1993.  Growing up on a farm near Meadow, Texas, Kathy developed a love and respect for the outdoors, which is obvious in her work.  She travels the back roads of the Southwest seeing beauty in rocks and land and streams and skies and weeds.

Her representational style of painting invites us to experience the joy she sees in the natural beauty of the world most of us take for granted.  It's an invitation many collectors, both private and corporate, have accepted.
