“My work is a fresh,
new approach in depicting scenes from America’s Western traditions.
Be it cowboys, horses or sunsets, you’ll find a clean, crisp,
definite hint of the contemporary in all of my work.
I was born and raised
in Texas. My people were
farmers and I spent many of my boyhood summers on their farms. I loved the
integrity and humor of my country family and now cherish many fond
memories of those enjoyable times.
I hope to bring that
integrity and humor into my artwork and want it to be convincing,
powerful, strong in composition, and spark an emotional response. I
strive for maturity in art, and plan to pursue it for the rest of my
life.”
