Richard Satava began glassblowing while at Ocean High School in Pacifica,
California.After studying art
and glassblowing at the College of San Mateo and California State
University, Chico, he established his own glass studio in 1977.Satava Art Glass is located in Northern California.Each piece is a hand blown original design that captures the beauty
and wonder in nature, from the ocean to the mountains each individually
crafted piece combines the highest degree of technical and artistic
skills.
