| Gale Webb
Gale is a native of Dallas, Texas and currently resides in Lubbock,
Texas with her husband. She is
a graduate of Texas Tech University and has been actively involved with
watermedia painting for thirty years.
Gale has received numerous awards both locally and nationwide and
is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, National
Watercolor Society, Watercolor West, West Texas Watercolor Society,
Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, Southwestern Watercolor
Society and Texas Watercolor Society.
“Art is a personal statement and I deliberately try to leave a
mystery about my paintings that will allow the viewer the freedom to
interpret for himself. In an
effort to give more body to my work I have begun to incorporate gouache,
acrylic and collage with watercolor.”
