ARTISTS SEEKING REPRESENTATION |

We thank you for submitting your portfolio material to Riverbend
Fine Art Gallery. For over twelve years Riverbend Fine Art Gallery has
been inspired by many different artists’ hands and hearts…so, we are
glad to receive and review your portfolio.
Riverbend Fine Art Gallery is primarily interested in representational
works in oil, pastel, acrylic and bronze sculpture.
Submission Process
We are interested in artists who are extremely steady performers, who can
meet deadlines with high-quality work, and who continually seek to
improve. Portfolio reviews are handled by the gallery director and gallery
owner quarterly.
· Send your submission via US Postal
Services, as this does not disrupt gallery business.
· Please send your presentation to the
gallery with a self-addressed, stamped envelope so that your submission
may be returned.
· Painters please submit photos/cd of at
least 10 works completed within the last two years, ideally currently
available work with an example of how those works are framed. Metal
frames are discouraged.
· Sculptors please submit photos/cd of at
least 10 works completed within the last five years, ideally currently
available work. Indicate how many are in your editions.
· Please mark images with title,
measurements, medium, the retail price and the wholesale price.
· Your presentation should also include an
artist bio citing education, exhibition history, grants/awards, list of
collectors (private, public, and corporate), and copies of reviews/press
received.
· Please include in your artist biography
the following: all current gallery affiliations, your website,
commitments you have over the next two years, as well as an idea of the
number of pieces we could receive from you on an immediate and annual
basis.
On a final note, there are many talented people whose works are not
chosen. There are limitations of space, your work may be too similar to
artists we already represent or simply your work may not fit the needs of
our market. In any case we encourage you to create your art and continue
to pursue your art career. We will notify you if your portfolio has been
accepted.
